Good morning. I’m Jason Mcallister. These are the WACK ninety point one FM headlines for Tuesday, September fifteenth.

At least twenty-five former State of Emergency detainees are considering compensation claims. Attorney C J Williams says each case must be assessed separately. No successful claim by the group has been announced.

National Insurance Board executive director Niala Persad-Poliah plans to retire on December thirteenth, after twenty-three years with the organisation. A reason for retiring early has not been disclosed.

Tobago’s leaders have reviewed water-supply readiness amid forecasts of warmer weather and reduced rainfall. The meeting concerns preparedness, not an announced island-wide shutdown.

Education officials, police, security providers and union representatives have met at San Juan North Secondary to coordinate the continuing security response.

Road rehabilitation is underway in several Mayaro communities. Other areas are expected to see crews in coming weeks; the entire programme has not been declared complete.
