Longer blood-donation hours planned at Eric Williams complex – Wack.TV

Blood-donation hours at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex could be extended to 8 p.m. under a plan announced by North Central Regional Health Authority chairman Dr Tim Gopeesingh.

Speaking at a blood drive on Saturday 24 October, Gopeesingh said staffing arrangements were being finalised, including a shift system. The aim is to make donating more convenient and support emergency medical care.

The extension remains a plan. The announcement did not establish a start date, so donors should not assume the proposed evening hours are already operating.
