The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service destroyed seized cocaine, marijuana, heroin and ecstasy at the Caroni Cremation Site. Commissioner Allister Guevarro put the value at about TT$1.68 billion. Caribbean Pulse dated the exercise 29 September 2026 and reported that the drugs came from seizures dating back to 2005. TTT also reported the destruction and the Commissioner’s valuation. The operation disposed of existing seized stocks; it was not a new seizure of that value.
