Nineteen-year-old Aaron Anderson died after being shot by a soldier during a joint police and military raid at a Delhi Road home in Fyzabad on 4 November. He was pronounced dead at Point Fortin Hospital.

Police say Anderson pointed a firearm at officers executing a search warrant. His family disputes that account. The circumstances remain under investigation; the conflicting accounts do not establish a finding about whether the shooting was lawful. Detailed allegations about the encounter have not been independently verified.
