Police say they recovered 661.9 kilograms of suspected cannabis at Chatham Beach in Cedros on the morning of 4 November. Their estimated street value is approximately TT$19.8 million.

Officers found 17 bales after people seen moving items from a pirogue escaped out to sea. Police enquiries are continuing. The substance is described as suspected cannabis; the reported weight and valuation are police figures, not an independently verified laboratory finding or sale price.
