Promoter Randy Glasgow is calling for a one-minute silence at 12:50 PM on Friday, 16 October, in tribute to the Mighty Sparrow.

In an appeal reported on 14 October, Glasgow asked people across Trinidad and Tobago to pause together. The timing refers to Sparrow’s song “Ten to One”.

This is an appeal by Glasgow for voluntary participation, not an announced compulsory national observance.
