Police investigate seven cadavers stored at Central Trinidad compound

Police are investigating the discovery of seven human cadavers inside a refrigeration unit at a compound in Central Trinidad. Officers from the Multi-Agency Task Force and Environmental Management Authority personnel visited the premises at about 10.40 a.m. on Thursday, 17 September.

According to the police account reported by TTT, the operator could not produce the required documentation at the time of the visit. Investigators are examining the circumstances in which the bodies came to be stored there and the relevant regulatory requirements. The discovery remains under investigation; no conclusion about criminal responsibility is established by this report.
